What Is YAH’s Covenant?
We clearly understand that when the revelation of YAHUAH comes to you that it can seem a bit overwhelming. However, keep in mind the above verse (Qahalat sn- Eccl) which states "Let us hear the conclusion of the entire matter: Fear YAHUAH (have tremendous respect and reverence) and keep His Commandments." In the verse before (v. 12) it states "And besides these [10 Commandments], my son, be warned – the making of many books has no end, and much study is a wearying of the flesh." Keep in mind that Shalamah (sn- Solomon), who is known as the wisest man that has ever lived, wrote these verses in Qahalat (sn- Ecclesiastes).
We state this because many fall into the trap of becoming wearied by study. We are not saying not to study. Scripture states that we are to study to show ourselves approved (2 Tim 2:15), but we are not to do so to the point of wearying ourselves. You will soon find that after you've studied, and studied, and studied some more, it will still come back to the simplicity of "FEAR YAHUAH and KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS." This will simplify your life and strengthen your faith. You will not be easily moved when His Commandments are written on your heart (Yirmiyahu sn-Jer 31:33 and Abariym sn-Heb 8:10). Learn and Memorize YAHUAH's Commandments. YAHUAH wrote them with His own finger. The Savior, Yahusha (YAHUAH ha Mashiyha) verified the key to "Eternal Life" was keeping the Commandments of His Father, YAHUAH, in Luqah (sn-Luke) 10:25-28 and Luqah (sn-Luke) 18:18-20.
So, Learn and Memorize YAHUAH's Commandments. After repenting, this is the MOST IMPORTANT thing you can do.
The 10 Commandments
Shamut (sn- Exodus) 20:1-17
Shamut 20:1 And Aluah spoke all these Words, saying, (vs 1= YAHUAH speaks these works Himself)
Shamut (Ex) 20:2-3 “I am YAHUAH your Aluah, who brought you out of the land of Matsar, out of the house of bondage. You are to worship no other Alahiym besides Me.”
Shamut (Ex) 20:4-6 “You do not make for yourself a carved image, or the likeness of anything that is in heavens above, or that is on the earth, or that is in the waters of the earth. You do not bow down to them, nor serve them. For I, YAHUAH, your Aluah, am a jealous Al, visiting the crookedness of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those that hate Me, but showing lovingkindness to thousands of them that Love Me and guard My Commandments.”
Shamut (Ex) 20:7 “You do not bring the Name of YAHUAH your Aluah to nothing, for YAHUAH will not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to nothing.”
Shamut (Ex) 20:8-11 “Remember the Shabat day, to keep it set-apart. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Shabat of YAHUAH your Aluah. You do not do any work on it, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates. For in six days, YAHUAH created the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them. Then He rested on the seventh day. Therefore, YAHUAH blessed the Shabat day, and set it apart.”
Shamut (Ex) 20:12 “Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged on the land which YAHUAH your Aluah gives you.”
Shamut (Ex) 20:13 “You do not murder.”
Shamut (Ex) 20:14 “You do not commit adultery.”
Shamut (Ex) 20:15 “You do not steal.”
Shamut (Ex) 20:16 “You do not bear false witness against your neighbour.”
Shamut (Ex) 20:17 “You do not covet your neighbor’s house. You do not covet your neighbor’s spouse, nor their male servant, nor their female servant, nor their ox, nor their donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”
Let us hear the conclusion of the entire matter: Fear YAHUAH and guard His commandments, for this applies to all mankind!
